لَمْ Not يَكُنِ were ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved مِنْ from أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ of the Book وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ and the polytheists مُنفَكِّينَ to be abandoned حَتَّىٰ until تَأْتِيَهُمُ (there) comes to them ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ the clear evidence

رَسُولٌ A Messenger مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah يَتْلُوا۟ reciting صُحُفًا pages مُّطَهَّرَةً purified

فِيهَا Wherein كُتُبٌ (are) writings قَيِّمَةٌ correct

وَمَا And not تَفَرَّقَ became divided ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Book إِلَّا until مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَا what جَآءَتْهُمُ came (to) them ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ (of) the clear evidence

وَمَآ And not أُمِرُوٓا۟ they were commanded إِلَّا except لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ to worship ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْلِصِينَ (being) sincere لَهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) the religion حُنَفَآءَ upright وَيُقِيمُوا۟ and to establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَيُؤْتُوا۟ and to give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah ۚ   وَذَٰلِكَ And that دِينُ (is the) religion ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ the correct

إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve مِنْ from أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ (of) the Book وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ and the polytheists فِى (will be) in نَارِ (the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell خَـٰلِدِينَ abiding eternally فِيهَآ therein ۚ   أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those هُمْ they شَرُّ (are the) worst ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ (of) the creatures

إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those هُمْ they خَيْرُ (are the) best ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ (of) the creatures

جَزَآؤُهُمْ Their reward عِندَ (is) with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord جَنَّـٰتُ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eternity تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers خَـٰلِدِينَ will abide فِيهَآ therein أَبَدًا forever ۖ   رَّضِىَ (will be) pleased ٱللَّهُ Allah عَنْهُمْ with them وَرَضُوا۟ and they (will be) pleased عَنْهُ with Him ۚ   ذَٰلِكَ That لِمَنْ (is) for whoever خَشِىَ feared رَبَّهُۥ his Lord
