ٱلْحَمْدُ All praises لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah فَاطِرِ Originator ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth جَاعِلِ (Who) makes ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels رُسُلًا messengers أُو۟لِىٓ having wings أَجْنِحَةٍ having wings مَّثْنَىٰ two وَثُلَـٰثَ or three وَرُبَـٰعَ or four ۚ   يَزِيدُ He increases فِى in ٱلْخَلْقِ the creation مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful

مَّا What يَفْتَحِ Allah grants ٱللَّهُ Allah grants لِلنَّاسِ to mankind مِن of رَّحْمَةٍ Mercy فَلَا then none مُمْسِكَ (can) withhold لَهَا it ۖ   وَمَا And what يُمْسِكْ He withholds فَلَا then none مُرْسِلَ (can) release لَهُۥ it مِنۢ thereafter بَعْدِهِۦ thereafter ۚ   وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind ٱذْكُرُوا۟ Remember نِعْمَتَ (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَيْكُمْ upon you ۚ   هَلْ Is مِنْ (there) any خَـٰلِقٍ creator غَيْرُ other (than) Allah ٱللَّهِ other (than) Allah يَرْزُقُكُم who provides for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۚ   لَآ (There is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ He ۖ   فَأَنَّىٰ Then, how تُؤْفَكُونَ (are) you deluded

وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you فَقَدْ then certainly كُذِّبَتْ were denied رُسُلٌ Messengers مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you ۚ   وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ return ٱلْأُمُورُ the matters

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind إِنَّ Indeed وَعْدَ (the) promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقٌّ (is) true ۖ   فَلَا So (let) not تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ deceive you ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world ۖ   وَلَا and (let) not يَغُرَّنَّكُم deceive you بِٱللَّهِ about Allah ٱلْغَرُورُ the Deceiver

إِنَّ Indeed ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ the Shaitaan لَكُمْ (is) to you عَدُوٌّ an enemy فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ so take him عَدُوًّا (as) an enemy ۚ   إِنَّمَا Only يَدْعُوا۟ he invites حِزْبَهُۥ his party لِيَكُونُوا۟ that they may be مِنْ among أَصْحَـٰبِ (the) companions ٱلسَّعِيرِ (of) the Blaze

ٱلَّذِينَ Those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (will be) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe ۖ   وَٱلَّذِينَ and those ءَامَنُوا۟ who believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةٌ (will be) forgiveness وَأَجْرٌ and a reward كَبِيرٌ great

أَفَمَن Then is (he) who زُيِّنَ is made fair-seeming لَهُۥ to him سُوٓءُ (the) evil عَمَلِهِۦ (of) his deed فَرَءَاهُ so that he sees it حَسَنًا (as) good ۖ   فَإِنَّ For indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah يُضِلُّ lets go astray مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَهْدِى and guides مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills ۖ   فَلَا So (let) not تَذْهَبْ go out نَفْسُكَ your soul عَلَيْهِمْ for them حَسَرَٰتٍ (in) regrets ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِمَا of what يَصْنَعُونَ they do

وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَرْسَلَ sends ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ the winds فَتُثِيرُ so that they raise سَحَابًا (the) clouds فَسُقْنَـٰهُ and We drive them إِلَىٰ to بَلَدٍ a land مَّيِّتٍ dead فَأَحْيَيْنَا and We revive بِهِ therewith ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَا its death ۚ   كَذَٰلِكَ Thus ٱلنُّشُورُ (will be) the Resurrection

مَن Whoever كَانَ [is] desires يُرِيدُ [is] desires ٱلْعِزَّةَ the honor فَلِلَّهِ then for Allah ٱلْعِزَّةُ (is) the Honor جَمِيعًا all ۚ   إِلَيْهِ To Him يَصْعَدُ ascends ٱلْكَلِمُ the words ٱلطَّيِّبُ good وَٱلْعَمَلُ and the deed ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ righteous يَرْفَعُهُۥ raises it ۚ   وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who يَمْكُرُونَ plot ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe ۖ   وَمَكْرُ and (the) plotting أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ (of) those هُوَ it يَبُورُ (will) perish

وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَلَقَكُم created you مِّن from تُرَابٍ dust ثُمَّ then مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop ثُمَّ then جَعَلَكُمْ He made you أَزْوَٰجًا pairs ۚ   وَمَا And not تَحْمِلُ conceives مِنْ any أُنثَىٰ female وَلَا and not تَضَعُ gives birth إِلَّا except بِعِلْمِهِۦ with His knowledge ۚ   وَمَا And not يُعَمَّرُ is granted life مِن any مُّعَمَّرٍ aged person وَلَا and not يُنقَصُ is lessened مِنْ from عُمُرِهِۦٓ his life إِلَّا but فِى (is) in كِتَـٰبٍ a Register ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى for ٱللَّهِ Allah يَسِيرٌ (is) easy

وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى are alike ٱلْبَحْرَانِ the two seas هَـٰذَا This عَذْبٌ (is) fresh فُرَاتٌ sweet سَآئِغٌ pleasant شَرَابُهُۥ its drink وَهَـٰذَا and this مِلْحٌ salty أُجَاجٌ (and) bitter ۖ   وَمِن And from كُلٍّ each تَأْكُلُونَ you eat لَحْمًا meat طَرِيًّا fresh وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ and you extract حِلْيَةً ornaments تَلْبَسُونَهَا you wear them ۖ   وَتَرَى and you see ٱلْفُلْكَ the ships فِيهِ in it مَوَاخِرَ cleaving لِتَبْتَغُوا۟ so that you may seek مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty وَلَعَلَّكُمْ and that you may تَشْكُرُونَ be grateful

يُولِجُ He causes to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى in (to) ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَيُولِجُ and He causes to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى in (to) ٱلَّيْلِ the night وَسَخَّرَ and He has subjected ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon كُلٌّ each يَجْرِى running لِأَجَلٍ for a term مُّسَمًّى appointed ۚ   ذَٰلِكُمُ That (is) ٱللَّهُ Allah رَبُّكُمْ your Lord لَهُ for Him ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the Dominion ۚ   وَٱلَّذِينَ And those whom تَدْعُونَ you invoke مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦ besides Him مَا not يَمْلِكُونَ they possess مِن even قِطْمِيرٍ (as much as) the membrane of a date-seed

إِن If تَدْعُوهُمْ you invoke them لَا not يَسْمَعُوا۟ they hear دُعَآءَكُمْ your call وَلَوْ and if سَمِعُوا۟ they heard مَا not ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ they (would) respond لَكُمْ to you ۖ   وَيَوْمَ And (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection يَكْفُرُونَ they will deny بِشِرْكِكُمْ your association ۚ   وَلَا And none يُنَبِّئُكَ can inform you مِثْلُ like خَبِيرٍ (the) All-Aware

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind أَنتُمُ You ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ (are) those in need إِلَى of ٱللَّهِ Allah ۖ   وَٱللَّهُ while Allah هُوَ He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy

إِن If يَشَأْ He wills يُذْهِبْكُمْ He (can) do away with you وَيَأْتِ and bring بِخَلْقٍ in a creation جَدِيدٍ new

وَمَا And not ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى (is) on ٱللَّهِ Allah بِعَزِيزٍ difficult

وَلَا And not تَزِرُ will bear وَازِرَةٌ bearer of burdens وِزْرَ burden أُخْرَىٰ (of) another ۚ   وَإِن And if تَدْعُ calls مُثْقَلَةٌ a heavily laden إِلَىٰ to حِمْلِهَا (carry) its load لَا not يُحْمَلْ will be carried مِنْهُ of it شَىْءٌ anything وَلَوْ even if كَانَ he be ذَا near of kin قُرْبَىٰٓ near of kin ۗ   إِنَّمَا Only تُنذِرُ you can warn ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَخْشَوْنَ fear رَبَّهُم their Lord بِٱلْغَيْبِ unseen وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer ۚ   وَمَن And whoever تَزَكَّىٰ purifies himself فَإِنَّمَا then only يَتَزَكَّىٰ he purifies لِنَفْسِهِۦ for his own self ۚ   وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination

وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ (are) the blind وَٱلْبَصِيرُ and the seeing

وَلَا And not ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُ the darkness[es] وَلَا and not ٱلنُّورُ [the] light

وَلَا And not ٱلظِّلُّ the shade وَلَا and not ٱلْحَرُورُ the heat

وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ (are) the living وَلَا and not ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ the dead ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah يُسْمِعُ causes to hear مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills ۖ   وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you بِمُسْمِعٍ can make hear مَّن (those) who فِى (are) in ٱلْقُبُورِ the graves

إِنْ Not أَنتَ you (are) إِلَّا but نَذِيرٌ a warner

إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ [We] have sent you بِٱلْحَقِّ with the truth بَشِيرًا (as) a bearer of glad tidings وَنَذِيرًا and (as) a warner ۚ   وَإِن And not مِّنْ (was) any أُمَّةٍ nation إِلَّا but خَلَا had passed فِيهَا within it نَذِيرٌ a warner

وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you فَقَدْ then certainly كَذَّبَ denied ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them جَآءَتْهُمْ Came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ with clear signs وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ and with Scriptures وَبِٱلْكِتَـٰبِ and with the Book ٱلْمُنِيرِ [the] enlightening

ثُمَّ Then أَخَذْتُ I seized ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved ۖ   فَكَيْفَ and how كَانَ was نَكِيرِ My rejection

أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah أَنزَلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water فَأَخْرَجْنَا then We bring forth بِهِۦ therewith ثَمَرَٰتٍ fruits مُّخْتَلِفًا (of) various أَلْوَٰنُهَا [their] colors ۚ   وَمِنَ And in ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains جُدَدٌۢ (are) tracts بِيضٌ white وَحُمْرٌ and red مُّخْتَلِفٌ (of) various أَلْوَٰنُهَا [their] colors وَغَرَابِيبُ and intensely black سُودٌ and intensely black

وَمِنَ And among ٱلنَّاسِ men وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ and moving creatures وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ and the cattle مُخْتَلِفٌ (are) various أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ [their] colors كَذَٰلِكَ likewise ۗ   إِنَّمَا Only يَخْشَى fear ٱللَّهَ Allah مِنْ among عِبَادِهِ His slaves ٱلْعُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ those who have knowledge ۗ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty غَفُورٌ Oft-Forgiving

إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَتْلُونَ recite كِتَـٰبَ (the) Book ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَأَنفَقُوا۟ and spend مِمَّا out of what رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ We have provided them سِرًّا secretly وَعَلَانِيَةً and openly يَرْجُونَ hope تِجَـٰرَةً (for) a commerce لَّن never تَبُورَ it will perish

لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ That He may give them in full أُجُورَهُمْ their rewards وَيَزِيدَهُم and increase for them مِّن of فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving شَكُورٌ Most Appreciative

وَٱلَّذِىٓ And (that) which أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you مِنَ of ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ the Book هُوَ it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مُصَدِّقًا confirming لِّمَا what (was) بَيْنَ before it يَدَيْهِ before it ۗ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves لَخَبِيرٌۢ surely, (is) All-Aware بَصِيرٌ All-Seer

ثُمَّ Then أَوْرَثْنَا We caused to inherit ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Book ٱلَّذِينَ those whom ٱصْطَفَيْنَا We have chosen مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ۖ   فَمِنْهُمْ and among them ظَالِمٌ (is he) who wrongs لِّنَفْسِهِۦ himself وَمِنْهُم and among them مُّقْتَصِدٌ (is he who is) moderate وَمِنْهُمْ and among them سَابِقٌۢ (is he who is) foremost بِٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ in good deeds بِإِذْنِ by permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ۚ   ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ is ٱلْفَضْلُ the Bounty ٱلْكَبِيرُ the great

جَنَّـٰتُ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eternity يَدْخُلُونَهَا they will enter them يُحَلَّوْنَ They will be adorned فِيهَا therein مِنْ with أَسَاوِرَ bracelets مِن of ذَهَبٍ gold وَلُؤْلُؤًا and pearls ۖ   وَلِبَاسُهُمْ and their garments فِيهَا therein حَرِيرٌ (will be of) silk

وَقَالُوا۟ And they (will) say ٱلْحَمْدُ All praises لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ the One Who أَذْهَبَ (has) removed عَنَّا from us ٱلْحَزَنَ the sorrow ۖ   إِنَّ Indeed رَبَّنَا our Lord لَغَفُورٌ (is) surely Oft-Forgiving شَكُورٌ Most Appreciative

ٱلَّذِىٓ The One Who أَحَلَّنَا has settled us دَارَ (in) a Home ٱلْمُقَامَةِ (of) Eternity مِن (out) of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty لَا Not يَمَسُّنَا touches us فِيهَا therein نَصَبٌ any fatigue وَلَا and not يَمَسُّنَا touches فِيهَا therein لُغُوبٌ weariness

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve لَهُمْ for them نَارُ (will be the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell لَا Not يُقْضَىٰ is decreed عَلَيْهِمْ for them فَيَمُوتُوا۟ that they die وَلَا and not يُخَفَّفُ will be lightened عَنْهُم for them مِّنْ of عَذَابِهَا its torment ۚ   كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We recompense كُلَّ every كَفُورٍ ungrateful one

وَهُمْ And they يَصْطَرِخُونَ will cry فِيهَا therein رَبَّنَآ Our Lord أَخْرِجْنَا Bring us out نَعْمَلْ we will do صَـٰلِحًا righteous (deeds) غَيْرَ other than ٱلَّذِى (that) which كُنَّا we used نَعْمَلُ (to) do ۚ   أَوَلَمْ Did not نُعَمِّرْكُم We give you life long enough مَّا that يَتَذَكَّرُ (would) receive admonition فِيهِ therein مَن whoever تَذَكَّرَ receives admonition وَجَآءَكُمُ And came to you ٱلنَّذِيرُ the warner ۖ   فَذُوقُوا۟ So taste فَمَا then not لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ (is) for the wrongdoers مِن any نَّصِيرٍ helper

إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَـٰلِمُ (is the) Knower غَيْبِ (of the) unseen ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is the) All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what (is) in the breasts ٱلصُّدُورِ of what (is) in the breasts

هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَكُمْ made you خَلَـٰٓئِفَ successors فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۚ   فَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ disbelieves فَعَلَيْهِ then upon him كُفْرُهُۥ (is) his disbelief ۖ   وَلَا And not يَزِيدُ increase ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers كُفْرُهُمْ their disbelief عِندَ near رَبِّهِمْ their Lord إِلَّا except مَقْتًا (in) hatred ۖ   وَلَا and not يَزِيدُ increase ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers كُفْرُهُمْ their disbelief إِلَّا except خَسَارًا (in) loss

قُلْ Say أَرَءَيْتُمْ Have you seen شُرَكَآءَكُمُ your partners ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَدْعُونَ you call مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah أَرُونِى Show Me مَاذَا what خَلَقُوا۟ they have created مِنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth أَمْ or لَهُمْ for them شِرْكٌ (is) a share فِى in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens أَمْ Or ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ have We given them كِتَـٰبًا a Book فَهُمْ so they عَلَىٰ (are) on بَيِّنَتٍ a clear proof مِّنْهُ therefrom ۚ   بَلْ Nay إِن not يَعِدُ promise ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ the wrongdoers بَعْضُهُم some of them بَعْضًا (to) others إِلَّا except غُرُورًا delusion

إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah يُمْسِكُ upholds ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth أَن lest تَزُولَا they cease ۚ   وَلَئِن And if زَالَتَآ they should cease إِنْ not أَمْسَكَهُمَا can uphold them مِنْ any أَحَدٍ one مِّنۢ after Him بَعْدِهِۦٓ after Him ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He كَانَ is حَلِيمًا Most Forbearing غَفُورًا Oft-Forgiving

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ And they swore بِٱللَّهِ by Allah جَهْدَ (the) strongest أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ (of) their oaths لَئِن that if جَآءَهُمْ came to them نَذِيرٌ a warner لَّيَكُونُنَّ surely, they would be أَهْدَىٰ more guided مِنْ than إِحْدَى any ٱلْأُمَمِ (of) the nations ۖ   فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَهُمْ came to them نَذِيرٌ a warner مَّا not زَادَهُمْ it increased them إِلَّا but نُفُورًا (in) aversion

ٱسْتِكْبَارًا (Due to) arrogance فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land وَمَكْرَ and plotting ٱلسَّيِّئِ (of) the evil ۚ   وَلَا but not يَحِيقُ encompasses ٱلْمَكْرُ the plot ٱلسَّيِّئُ (of) the evil إِلَّا except بِأَهْلِهِۦ its own people ۚ   فَهَلْ Then do يَنظُرُونَ they wait إِلَّا except سُنَّتَ (the) way ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people) ۚ   فَلَن But never تَجِدَ you will find لِسُنَّتِ in (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah تَبْدِيلًا any change ۖ   وَلَن and never تَجِدَ you will find لِسُنَّتِ in (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah تَحْوِيلًا any alteration

أَوَلَمْ Have they not يَسِيرُوا۟ traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and seen كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَـٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who مِن (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them وَكَانُوٓا۟ And they were أَشَدَّ stronger مِنْهُمْ than them قُوَّةً (in) power ۚ   وَمَا But not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيُعْجِزَهُۥ that can escape (from) Him مِن any شَىْءٍ thing فِى in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He كَانَ is عَلِيمًا All-Knower قَدِيرًا All-Powerful

وَلَوْ And if يُؤَاخِذُ Allah (were to) punish ٱللَّهُ Allah (were to) punish ٱلنَّاسَ the people بِمَا for what كَسَبُوا۟ they have earned مَا not تَرَكَ He would leave عَلَىٰ on ظَهْرِهَا its back مِن any دَآبَّةٍ creature وَلَـٰكِن But يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ He gives them respite إِلَىٰٓ till أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed ۖ   فَإِذَا And when جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term فَإِنَّ then indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah كَانَ is بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves بَصِيرًۢا All-Seer
