حمٓ Ha Meem

عٓسٓقٓ Ayn Seen Qaaf

كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُوحِىٓ reveals إِلَيْكَ to you وَإِلَى and to ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise

لَهُۥ To Him مَا (belong) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۖ   وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High ٱلْعَظِيمُ the Most Great

تَكَادُ Almost ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ the heavens يَتَفَطَّرْنَ break up مِن from فَوْقِهِنَّ above them ۚ   وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels يُسَبِّحُونَ glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ and ask for forgiveness لِمَن for those فِى on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۗ   أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّ indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah هُوَ He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take مِن besides دُونِهِۦٓ besides أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors ٱللَّهُ Allah حَفِيظٌ (is) a Guardian عَلَيْهِمْ over them وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them بِوَكِيلٍ a manager

وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you قُرْءَانًا a Quran عَرَبِيًّا (in) Arabic لِّتُنذِرَ that you may warn أُمَّ (the) mother ٱلْقُرَىٰ (of) the towns وَمَنْ and whoever حَوْلَهَا (is) around it وَتُنذِرَ and warn يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْجَمْعِ (of) Assembly لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it ۚ   فَرِيقٌ A party فِى (will be) in ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise وَفَرِيقٌ and a party فِى in ٱلسَّعِيرِ the Blazing Fire

وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ Allah willed ٱللَّهُ Allah willed لَجَعَلَهُمْ He could have made them أُمَّةً a community وَٰحِدَةً one وَلَـٰكِن but يُدْخِلُ He admits مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills فِى in (to) رَحْمَتِهِۦ His Mercy ۚ   وَٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ And the wrongdoers مَا not لَهُم for them مِّن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper

أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors ۖ   فَٱللَّهُ But Allah هُوَ He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector وَهُوَ and He يُحْىِ gives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful

وَمَا And whatever ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ you differ فِيهِ in it مِن of شَىْءٍ a thing فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ then its ruling إِلَى (is) to ٱللَّهِ Allah ۚ   ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبِّى my Lord عَلَيْهِ upon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him أُنِيبُ I turn

فَاطِرُ (The) Creator ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۚ   جَعَلَ He made لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَزْوَٰجًا mates وَمِنَ and among ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ the cattle أَزْوَٰجًا mates ۖ   يَذْرَؤُكُمْ He multiplies you فِيهِ thereby ۚ   لَيْسَ (There) is not كَمِثْلِهِۦ like Him شَىْءٌ anything ۖ   وَهُوَ and He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer

لَهُۥ To Him (belongs) مَقَالِيدُ (the) keys ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۖ   يَبْسُطُ He extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِمَن for whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَقْدِرُ and restricts ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower

شَرَعَ He has ordained لَكُم for you مِّنَ of ٱلدِّينِ the religion مَا what وَصَّىٰ He enjoined بِهِۦ upon نُوحًا Nuh وَٱلَّذِىٓ and that which أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you وَمَا and what وَصَّيْنَا We enjoined بِهِۦٓ upon إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim وَمُوسَىٰ and Musa وَعِيسَىٰٓ and Isa ۖ   أَنْ To أَقِيمُوا۟ establish ٱلدِّينَ the religion وَلَا and not تَتَفَرَّقُوا۟ be divided فِيهِ therein ۚ   كَبُرَ Is difficult عَلَى on ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists مَا what تَدْعُوهُمْ you call them إِلَيْهِ to it ۚ   ٱللَّهُ Allah يَجْتَبِىٓ chooses إِلَيْهِ for Himself مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَهْدِىٓ and guides إِلَيْهِ to Himself مَن whoever يُنِيبُ turns

وَمَا And not تَفَرَّقُوٓا۟ they became divided إِلَّا until مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْعِلْمُ the knowledge بَغْيًۢا (out of) rivalry بَيْنَهُمْ among them ۚ   وَلَوْلَا And if not كَلِمَةٌ (for) a word سَبَقَتْ (that) preceded مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى specified لَّقُضِىَ surely, it (would have) been settled بَيْنَهُمْ between them ۚ   وَإِنَّ And indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُورِثُوا۟ were made to inherit ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Book مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ after them لَفِى (are) surely in شَكٍّ doubt مِّنْهُ concerning it مُرِيبٍ disquieting

فَلِذَٰلِكَ So to that فَٱدْعُ then invite ۖ   وَٱسْتَقِمْ and stand firm كَمَآ as أُمِرْتَ you are commanded ۖ   وَلَا and (do) not تَتَّبِعْ follow أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires ۖ   وَقُلْ but say ءَامَنتُ I believe بِمَآ in what أَنزَلَ Allah has sent down ٱللَّهُ Allah has sent down مِن of كِتَـٰبٍ (the) Book ۖ   وَأُمِرْتُ and I am commanded لِأَعْدِلَ that I do justice بَيْنَكُمُ between you ۖ   ٱللَّهُ Allah رَبُّنَا (is) our Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ and your Lord ۖ   لَنَآ For us أَعْمَـٰلُنَا our deeds وَلَكُمْ and for you أَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ your deeds ۖ   لَا (There is) no حُجَّةَ argument بَيْنَنَا between us وَبَيْنَكُمُ and between you ۖ   ٱللَّهُ Allah يَجْمَعُ will assemble بَيْنَنَا [between] us ۖ   وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يُحَآجُّونَ argue فِى concerning ٱللَّهِ Allah مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] ٱسْتُجِيبَ response has been made to Him لَهُۥ response has been made to Him حُجَّتُهُمْ their argument دَاحِضَةٌ (is) invalid عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord وَعَلَيْهِمْ and upon them غَضَبٌ (is) wrath وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe

ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ (has) sent down ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Book بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth وَٱلْمِيزَانَ and the Balance ۗ   وَمَا And what يُدْرِيكَ will make you know لَعَلَّ Perhaps ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour قَرِيبٌ (is) near

يَسْتَعْجِلُ Seek to hasten بِهَا [of] it ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِهَا in it ۖ   وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe مُشْفِقُونَ (are) fearful مِنْهَا of it وَيَعْلَمُونَ and know أَنَّهَا that it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth ۗ   أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّ indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُمَارُونَ dispute فِى concerning ٱلسَّاعَةِ the Hour لَفِى (are) certainly in ضَلَـٰلٍۭ error بَعِيدٍ far

ٱللَّهُ Allah لَطِيفٌۢ (is) Subtle بِعِبَادِهِۦ with His slaves يَرْزُقُ He gives provision مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills ۖ   وَهُوَ And He ٱلْقَوِىُّ (is) the All-Strong ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty

مَن Whoever كَانَ is يُرِيدُ desiring حَرْثَ (the) harvest ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter نَزِدْ We increase لَهُۥ for him فِى in حَرْثِهِۦ his harvest ۖ   وَمَن And whoever كَانَ is يُرِيدُ desiring حَرْثَ (the) harvest ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world نُؤْتِهِۦ We give him مِنْهَا of it وَمَا but not لَهُۥ for him فِى in ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the Hereafter مِن any نَّصِيبٍ share

أَمْ Or لَهُمْ for them شُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟ (are) partners شَرَعُوا۟ who have ordained لَهُم for them مِّنَ of ٱلدِّينِ the religion مَا what لَمْ not يَأْذَنۢ Allah has given permission of it بِهِ Allah has given permission of it ٱللَّهُ Allah has given permission of it ۚ   وَلَوْلَا And if not كَلِمَةُ (for) a word ٱلْفَصْلِ decisive لَقُضِىَ surely, it (would have) been judged بَيْنَهُمْ between them ۗ   وَإِنَّ And indeed ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is a) punishment أَلِيمٌ painful

تَرَى You will see ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers مُشْفِقِينَ fearful مِمَّا of what كَسَبُوا۟ they earned وَهُوَ and it وَاقِعٌۢ (will) befall بِهِمْ [on] them ۗ   وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds فِى (will be) in رَوْضَاتِ flowering meadows ٱلْجَنَّاتِ (of) the Gardens ۖ   لَهُم for them مَّا (is) whatever يَشَآءُونَ they wish عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord ۚ   ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ it ٱلْفَضْلُ (is) the Bounty ٱلْكَبِيرُ the Great

ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلَّذِى (is of) which يُبَشِّرُ Allah gives glad tidings ٱللَّهُ Allah gives glad tidings عِبَادَهُ (to) His slaves ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds ۗ   قُل Say لَّآ Not أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask you عَلَيْهِ for it أَجْرًا any payment إِلَّا except ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ the love فِى among ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ the relatives ۗ   وَمَن And whoever يَقْتَرِفْ earns حَسَنَةً any good نَّزِدْ We increase لَهُۥ for him فِيهَا therein حُسْنًا good ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving شَكُورٌ All-Appreciative

أَمْ Or يَقُولُونَ (do) they say ٱفْتَرَىٰ He has invented عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًا a lie ۖ   فَإِن But if يَشَإِ Allah willed ٱللَّهُ Allah willed يَخْتِمْ He would seal عَلَىٰ [over] قَلْبِكَ your heart ۗ   وَيَمْحُ And Allah eliminates ٱللَّهُ And Allah eliminates ٱلْبَـٰطِلَ the falsehood وَيُحِقُّ and establishes ٱلْحَقَّ the truth بِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦٓ by His Words ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing بِذَاتِ of what ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts

وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يَقْبَلُ accepts ٱلتَّوْبَةَ the repentance عَنْ of عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves وَيَعْفُوا۟ and pardons عَنِ [of] ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil وَيَعْلَمُ and He knows مَا what تَفْعَلُونَ you do

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ And He answers ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds وَيَزِيدُهُم and increases (for) them مِّن from فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty ۚ   وَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ And the disbelievers لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (will be) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe

وَلَوْ And if بَسَطَ Allah extends ٱللَّهُ Allah extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِعِبَادِهِۦ for His slaves لَبَغَوْا۟ surely they would rebel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَـٰكِن but يُنَزِّلُ He sends down بِقَدَرٍ in (due) measure مَّا what يَشَآءُ He wills ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بَصِيرٌ All-Seer

وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُنَزِّلُ sends down ٱلْغَيْثَ the rain مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] قَنَطُوا۟ they have despaired وَيَنشُرُ and spreads رَحْمَتَهُۥ His mercy ۚ   وَهُوَ And He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy

وَمِنْ And among ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ His Signs خَلْقُ (is the) creation ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَثَّ He has dispersed فِيهِمَا in both of them مِن of دَآبَّةٍ (the) creatures ۚ   وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) over جَمْعِهِمْ their gathering إِذَا when يَشَآءُ He wills قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful

وَمَآ And whatever أَصَـٰبَكُم befalls you مِّن of مُّصِيبَةٍ (the) misfortune فَبِمَا (is because) of what كَسَبَتْ have earned أَيْدِيكُمْ your hands وَيَعْفُوا۟ But He pardons عَن [from] كَثِيرٍ much

وَمَآ And not أَنتُم you بِمُعْجِزِينَ (can) escape فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۖ   وَمَا and not لَكُم for you مِّن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper

وَمِنْ And among ءَايَـٰتِهِ His Signs ٱلْجَوَارِ (are) the ships فِى in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ like [the] mountains

إِن If يَشَأْ He wills يُسْكِنِ He can cause the wind to become still ٱلرِّيحَ He can cause the wind to become still فَيَظْلَلْنَ then they would remain رَوَاكِدَ motionless عَلَىٰ on ظَهْرِهِۦٓ its back ۚ   إِنَّ Indeed فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّكُلِّ for everyone صَبَّارٍ patient شَكُورٍ (and) grateful

أَوْ Or يُوبِقْهُنَّ He could destroy them بِمَا for what كَسَبُوا۟ they have earned وَيَعْفُ but He pardons عَن [from] كَثِيرٍ much

وَيَعْلَمَ And may know ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُجَـٰدِلُونَ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Signs مَا (that) not لَهُم for them مِّن any مَّحِيصٍ place of refuge

فَمَآ So whatever أُوتِيتُم you are given مِّن of شَىْءٍ a thing فَمَتَـٰعُ (is) but a passing enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (for) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world ۖ   وَمَا But what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌ (is) better وَأَبْقَىٰ and more lasting لِلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَلَىٰ and upon رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ put (their) trust

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يَجْتَنِبُونَ avoid كَبَـٰٓئِرَ (the) greater ٱلْإِثْمِ sins وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ and the immoralities وَإِذَا and when مَا and when غَضِبُوا۟ they are angry هُمْ they يَغْفِرُونَ forgive

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ respond لِرَبِّهِمْ to their Lord وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ prayer وَأَمْرُهُمْ and their affairs شُورَىٰ (are conducted by) consultation بَيْنَهُمْ among them وَمِمَّا and from what رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ We have provided them يُنفِقُونَ they spend

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who إِذَآ when أَصَابَهُمُ strikes them ٱلْبَغْىُ tyranny هُمْ they يَنتَصِرُونَ defend themselves

وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟ (The) recompense سَيِّئَةٍ (of) an evil سَيِّئَةٌ (is) an evil مِّثْلُهَا like it ۖ   فَمَنْ But whoever عَفَا pardons وَأَصْلَحَ and makes reconciliation فَأَجْرُهُۥ then his reward عَلَى (is) on ٱللَّهِ Allah ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ like ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers

وَلَمَنِ And surely whosoever ٱنتَصَرَ defends himself بَعْدَ after ظُلْمِهِۦ he has been wronged فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ then those مَا not عَلَيْهِم (is) against them مِّن any سَبِيلٍ way

إِنَّمَا Only ٱلسَّبِيلُ the way عَلَى against ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَظْلِمُونَ oppress ٱلنَّاسَ the people وَيَبْغُونَ and rebel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth بِغَيْرِ without ٱلْحَقِّ right ۚ   أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful

وَلَمَن And whoever صَبَرَ (is) patient وَغَفَرَ and forgives إِنَّ indeed ذَٰلِكَ that لَمِنْ (is) surely of عَزْمِ matters of determination ٱلْأُمُورِ matters of determination

وَمَن And whoever يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector مِّنۢ after Him بَعْدِهِۦ after Him ۗ   وَتَرَى And you will see ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers لَمَّا when رَأَوُا۟ they see ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment يَقُولُونَ saying هَلْ Is إِلَىٰ (there) for مَرَدٍّ return مِّن any سَبِيلٍ way

وَتَرَىٰهُمْ And you will see them يُعْرَضُونَ being exposed عَلَيْهَا to it خَـٰشِعِينَ humbled مِنَ by ٱلذُّلِّ disgrace يَنظُرُونَ looking مِن with طَرْفٍ a glance خَفِىٍّ stealthy ۗ   وَقَالَ And will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed إِنَّ Indeed ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ the losers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who خَسِرُوٓا۟ lost أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves وَأَهْلِيهِمْ and their families يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection ۗ   أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّ Indeed ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers فِى (are) in عَذَابٍ a punishment مُّقِيمٍ lasting

وَمَا And not كَانَ will be لَهُم for them مِّنْ any أَوْلِيَآءَ protector يَنصُرُونَهُم (who) will help them مِّن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah ۗ   وَمَن And whom يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any سَبِيلٍ way

ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ Respond لِرَبِّكُم to your Lord مِّن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِىَ comes يَوْمٌ a Day لَّا (there is) no مَرَدَّ averting لَهُۥ for it مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah ۚ   مَا Not لَكُم (is) for you مِّن any مَّلْجَإٍ refuge يَوْمَئِذٍ (on) that Day وَمَا and not لَكُم for you مِّن any نَّكِيرٍ denial

فَإِنْ Then if أَعْرَضُوا۟ they turn away فَمَآ then not أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ We have sent you عَلَيْهِمْ over them حَفِيظًا (as) a guardian ۖ   إِنْ Not عَلَيْكَ (is) on you إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ the conveyance ۗ   وَإِنَّآ And indeed إِذَآ when أَذَقْنَا We cause to taste ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ [the] man مِنَّا from Us رَحْمَةً Mercy فَرِحَ he rejoices بِهَا in it ۖ   وَإِن But if تُصِبْهُمْ befalls them سَيِّئَةٌۢ evil بِمَا for what قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands فَإِنَّ then indeed ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ [the] man كَفُورٌ (is) ungrateful

لِّلَّهِ To Allah مُلْكُ (belongs the) dominion ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۚ   يَخْلُقُ He creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills ۚ   يَهَبُ He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills إِنَـٰثًا females وَيَهَبُ and He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills ٱلذُّكُورَ [the] males

أَوْ Or يُزَوِّجُهُمْ He grants them ذُكْرَانًا males وَإِنَـٰثًا and females ۖ   وَيَجْعَلُ and He makes مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills عَقِيمًا barren ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful

وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِبَشَرٍ for any human أَن that يُكَلِّمَهُ Allah should speak to him ٱللَّهُ Allah should speak to him إِلَّا except وَحْيًا (by) revelation أَوْ or مِن from وَرَآئِ behind حِجَابٍ a veil أَوْ or يُرْسِلَ (by) sending رَسُولًا a messenger فَيُوحِىَ then he reveals بِإِذْنِهِۦ by His permission مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills ۚ   إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِىٌّ (is) Most High حَكِيمٌ Most Wise

وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you رُوحًا an inspiration مِّنْ by أَمْرِنَا Our Command ۚ   مَا Not كُنتَ (did) you تَدْرِى know مَا what ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ the Book (is) وَلَا and not ٱلْإِيمَـٰنُ the faith وَلَـٰكِن But جَعَلْنَـٰهُ We have made it نُورًا a light نَّهْدِى We guide بِهِۦ with it مَن whom نَّشَآءُ We will مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ۚ   وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتَهْدِىٓ surely guide إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ (the) Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight

صِرَٰطِ (The) path ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلَّذِى the One لَهُۥ to Whom مَا (belongs) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth ۗ   أَلَآ Unquestionably إِلَى To ٱللَّهِ Allah تَصِيرُ reach ٱلْأُمُورُ all affairs
