ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ The Most Gracious

عَلَّمَ He taught ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran

خَلَقَ He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ [the] man

عَلَّمَهُ He taught him ٱلْبَيَانَ [the] speech

ٱلشَّمْسُ The sun وَٱلْقَمَرُ and the moon بِحُسْبَانٍ by (precise) calculation

وَٱلنَّجْمُ And the stars وَٱلشَّجَرُ and the trees يَسْجُدَانِ both prostrate

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ And the heaven رَفَعَهَا He raised it وَوَضَعَ and He has set up ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance

أَلَّا That not تَطْغَوْا۟ you may transgress فِى in ٱلْمِيزَانِ the balance

وَأَقِيمُوا۟ And establish ٱلْوَزْنَ the weight بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice وَلَا and (do) not تُخْسِرُوا۟ make deficient ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance

وَٱلْأَرْضَ And the earth وَضَعَهَا He laid it لِلْأَنَامِ for the creatures

فِيهَا Therein فَـٰكِهَةٌ (is) fruit وَٱلنَّخْلُ and date-palms ذَاتُ having ٱلْأَكْمَامِ sheaths

وَٱلْحَبُّ And the grain ذُو having ٱلْعَصْفِ husk وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ and scented plants

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

خَلَقَ He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ the man مِن from صَلْصَـٰلٍ clay كَٱلْفَخَّارِ like the pottery

وَخَلَقَ And He created ٱلْجَآنَّ the jinn مِن from مَّارِجٍ a smokeless flame مِّن of نَّارٍ fire

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

رَبُّ Lord ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ (of) the two Easts وَرَبُّ and Lord ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ (of) the two Wests

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

مَرَجَ He released ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ the two seas يَلْتَقِيَانِ meeting

بَيْنَهُمَا Between both of them بَرْزَخٌ (is) a barrier لَّا not يَبْغِيَانِ they transgress

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

يَخْرُجُ Come forth مِنْهُمَا from both of them ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ the pearl وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ and the coral

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

وَلَهُ And for Him ٱلْجَوَارِ (are) the ships ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ elevated فِى in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ like mountains

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

كُلُّ Everyone مَنْ who عَلَيْهَا (is) on it فَانٍ (will) perish

وَيَبْقَىٰ But will remain وَجْهُ (the) Face رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord ذُو (the) Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ Asks Him مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ۚ   كُلَّ Every يَوْمٍ day هُوَ He فِى (is) in شَأْنٍ a matter

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

سَنَفْرُغُ Soon We will attend لَكُمْ to you أَيُّهَ O you ٱلثَّقَلَانِ two classes

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

يَـٰمَعْشَرَ O assembly ٱلْجِنِّ (of) the jinn وَٱلْإِنسِ and the men إِنِ If ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ you are able أَن to تَنفُذُوا۟ pass beyond مِنْ [of] أَقْطَارِ (the) regions ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth فَٱنفُذُوا۟ then pass ۚ   لَا Not تَنفُذُونَ you (can) pass إِلَّا except بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ by authority

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

يُرْسَلُ Will be sent عَلَيْكُمَا against both of you شُوَاظٌ a flame مِّن of نَّارٍ fire وَنُحَاسٌ and smoke فَلَا and not تَنتَصِرَانِ you will (be able to) defend yourselves

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فَإِذَا Then when ٱنشَقَّتِ is split ٱلسَّمَآءُ the heaven فَكَانَتْ and it becomes وَرْدَةً rose-colored كَٱلدِّهَانِ like murky oil

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ Then (on) that Day لَّا not يُسْـَٔلُ will be asked عَن about ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ his sin إِنسٌ any man وَلَا and not جَآنٌّ any jinn

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

يُعْرَفُ Will be known ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ by their marks فَيُؤْخَذُ and will be seized بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى by the forelocks وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ and the feet

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

هَـٰذِهِۦ This جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell ٱلَّتِى which يُكَذِّبُ deny بِهَا [of it] ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals

يَطُوفُونَ They will go around بَيْنَهَا between it وَبَيْنَ and between حَمِيمٍ scalding water ءَانٍ heated

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

وَلِمَنْ But for (him) who خَافَ fears مَقَامَ (the) standing رَبِّهِۦ (before) his Lord جَنَّتَانِ (are) two gardens

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

ذَوَاتَآ Having أَفْنَانٍ branches

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِمَا In both of them عَيْنَانِ (are) two springs تَجْرِيَانِ flowing

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِمَا In both of them مِن [of] كُلِّ (are) every فَـٰكِهَةٍ fruits زَوْجَانِ (in) pairs

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ Reclining عَلَىٰ on فُرُشٍۭ couches بَطَآئِنُهَا (whose) inner linings مِنْ (are) of إِسْتَبْرَقٍ brocade ۚ   وَجَنَى and (the) fruit ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ (of) both the gardens دَانٍ (is) near

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِنَّ In them قَـٰصِرَٰتُ (will be) companions of modest gaze ٱلطَّرْفِ (will be) companions of modest gaze لَمْ not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them إِنسٌ any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them وَلَا and not جَآنٌّ any jinn

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

كَأَنَّهُنَّ As if they were ٱلْيَاقُوتُ rubies وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ and coral

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

هَلْ Is جَزَآءُ (the) reward ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ for the good إِلَّا but ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ good

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

وَمِن Besides these two دُونِهِمَا Besides these two جَنَّتَانِ (are) two gardens

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ Dark green

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِمَا In both of them عَيْنَانِ (are) two springs نَضَّاخَتَانِ gushing forth

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِمَا In both of them فَـٰكِهَةٌ (are) fruits وَنَخْلٌ and date-palms وَرُمَّانٌ and pomegranates

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

فِيهِنَّ In them خَيْرَٰتٌ (are) good حِسَانٌ and beautiful ones

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

حُورٌ Fair ones مَّقْصُورَٰتٌ restrained فِى in ٱلْخِيَامِ the pavilions

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

لَمْ Not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them إِنسٌ any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them وَلَا and not جَآنٌّ any jinn

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ Reclining عَلَىٰ on رَفْرَفٍ cushions خُضْرٍ green وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ and carpets حِسَانٍ beautiful

فَبِأَىِّ So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny

تَبَـٰرَكَ Blessed is ٱسْمُ (the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord ذِى Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor
